Frequently asked questions

How does the 7-day trial work?

After registration you get 7 days of full access to 3 monitors, all check types (HTTP, SSL, TCP, DNS, heartbeat, LAN agent), Telegram and email alerts, plus a public status page. No card When the trial ends you pick a plan - until you activate it, monitoring is paused.

What can I monitor?

Six monitor types that cover the whole stack:

  • HTTP/HTTPS - status code, keyword match in content, response time
  • SSL certificate expiration - notification 30/14/7/3/1 days before expiry
  • Domain expiration (WHOIS) - 90/30/14/7/3/1 days before expiry (.sk, .cz, .eu, .com, .io and more)
  • TCP port check - databases, SSH, SMTP and other services
  • DNS - A/AAAA/MX/TXT/CNAME/NS
  • Heartbeat monitor (cron job) - cron jobs and background workers
  • LAN agent - devices inside the client's internal network (ping/TCP/HTTP) without VPN or port forwarding
  • Visual check - content change detection on HTTP 200
How fast do I get notified when something goes down?

It depends on the check interval - minimum is 1 minute on the Business plan, 2 min on Profi, 5 min on the others. After a failure is detected you get an email and a Telegram message (if you have it connected). Optionally also a webhook for your own integration (Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, ...). For sensitive monitors you can set 'alert only after N consecutive failures' to eliminate false positives.

How does payment and invoicing work?

Payments processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record Lemon Squeezy Lemon Squeezy (EU merchant of record). We accept credit cards and SEPA Direct Debit. An invoice with your company details (IČO, DIČ) is issued automatically after every successful payment and is available in the customer portal. With annual billing we automatically apply a 20% discount.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You cancel in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (you'll find the link in the Subscription and invoicessection). After cancellation the subscription runs until the end of the paid period, then monitoring is paused. No cancellation fees, no penalties.

How does the LAN agent work for internal networks?

You install a small daemon (~6 KB Python script or a Docker container) on any machine in your network - Raspberry Pi, NAS, mini PC. Every 30 seconds the agent calls ePulz.io over regular HTTPS, receives the list of IPs to check (ping, TCP, HTTP) and sends the results back. No port forwarding, no VPN, no inbound open ports. Where is my data stored and what about GDPR?

All monitoring data is stored on our own infrastructure in the EU. No AWS, no tracking cookies, no data transfer outside the EEA. Probes for multi-region checks run in EU regions over WireGuard tunnels. For payment processing we use Lemon Squeezy (EU merchant). Full text is available in privacy policy.

What happens if I exceed the monitor limit on my plan?

Hard limit - a new monitor cannot be created until you free up space or upgrade the plan. No surprises on the invoice, no per-check fees. Plan upgrade is immediate, downgrade runs until the end of the paid period.
