Email alerts - configuration
3 min read · Notifications
E-mail is the default channel for alerts. It works immediately after registration and does not require any further configuration.
What e-mail you receive
For every monitor outage you receive an e-mail with:
- The monitor name and URL
- The HTTP status code or error
- The start time of the outage
- A link to the detail in the dashboard
After recovery you receive a recovery e-mail with the total outage duration.
Delivery
E-mails are sent from [email protected] via the Brevo SMTP relay with valid SPF/DKIM/DMARC signing. Typical delivery takes 5-15 seconds. With aggressive spam filters they may be slightly slower.
Troubleshooting when you are not receiving e-mails
1. Check the spam / promotional folder
2. Add [email protected] to safe senders
3. In the dashboard, Settings -> Notifications, confirm that e-mail alerts are enabled
4. Check that the e-mail in your profile is correct (typo in the domain)
