Email address verification

When you register, we send you a verification e-mail. By clicking the link in it you confirm that the e-mail address belongs to you - without this you cannot sign in to your account.

Steps

1. Fill in the registration form (e-mail and password)
2. We send you an e-mail with the subject "Confirm your e-mail address - ePulz.io"
3. Open the e-mail and click the Activate account button
4. The account is activated, we sign you in automatically and redirect you to the wizard or the overview

What if the e-mail did not arrive

• Check your Spam or Promotions folder
• Verify that you typed the e-mail correctly - a typo in the domain (e.g. gmial.com) cannot be fixed without registering again
• From the login page (after attempting to sign in) click Resend activation e-mail - we will generate a new link. Limit: 1 e-mail per 5 minutes to the same address
• If nothing helps, write to [email protected] from the same address

Security safeguards

• Link validity: the link does not expire - you can use it later too
• One-time use: after a successful verification the link becomes invalid
• Limit: at most 1 repeated e-mail per 5 minutes to the same address (abuse protection)
• You cannot sign in without verification - the login page shows a notice and offers to send the activation link again

Why we do this

E-mail verification protects against:

• Fake registrations (bots)
• Loss of access - without a verified e-mail you would not be able to reset a forgotten password
• Misuse for sending spam - we only send notifications to verified addresses
