Email subscribers for status page
Do you follow someone else's public status page (for example from a supplier or partner) and want to know the moment a service goes down or schedules maintenance? Just one click and notifications start arriving straight to your account inbox. The feature is available to signed-in ePulz.io users with an active plan (including the trial period).
How to subscribe
Open the public status page (for example from a supplier or partner that you monitor yourself). If you are signed in to ePulz.io and have an active plan, a Subscribe button will appear below the service overview, along with the e-mail from your account. One click and you are done.
The page deliberately does not use an open e-mail field for anonymous visitors. This way we avoid spam, fake addresses and inactive subscribers on the list.
Activating the subscription
The subscription is activated immediately after you click Subscribe, since your account e-mail was already verified during registration. You do not need to confirm anything else and notifications start arriving right away.
When a notification arrives
Once your subscription is active, we send you an e-mail on every important status change of the monitored services:
- Start of an outage (the service moves to the Down state, meaning unavailable).
- Service recovery, along with the total length of the outage.
- Start and end of planned maintenance (Maintenance window).
- Optionally also an advance notice, if the operator enables a reminder before maintenance.
We do not send you routine checks that came out fine - you only get the changes that truly matter.
Managing your subscriptions
You can unsubscribe with one click through the unsubscribe link included in every notification we send you. This way you can cancel the subscription at any time, even without logging in - this is how we meet the requirements of the GDPR (European personal data protection).
[email protected] to your trusted senders (whitelist). That way notifications never end up in spam.
