SLA reports (monthly / quarterly)

4 min read

A client asks "did you meet 99.9% uptime in March?". An SLA report is a PDF with charts and a table that you send them in 30 seconds, instead of calculating manually from charts.

Generation

In the monitor detail, the SLA report tab:

  1. Choose a period: last month, last quarter, or a custom date range
  2. Click "Generate PDF"
  3. The PDF downloads in 5-15 seconds (depending on the number of checks)

What it contains

  • Header: monitor name, URL, period, generation date
  • SLA metrics:
    • Uptime % for the period (with 2 decimal places)
    • Total downtime (HH:MM:SS)
    • Number of incidents, average length, MTBF
    • P50/P90/P99 response time
  • Incident table: every DOWN event with start/end time, length, reason
  • Daily uptime chart: a bar chart by day (green 99.9%+, yellow 95-99.9%, red below 95%)
  • Maintenance windows: if scheduled, they are included in the "excluded from SLA" section (not counted)
  • Footer: generated by ePulz.io + timestamp + your email

Custom branding (Business plan)

On the Business plan you can add:

  • Your logo in the header (upload in Settings)
  • Your company name + company ID in the footer
  • Email recipient (automatically sends the PDF via SMTP)

Recurring automated reports

Option to set up a recurring report (every 1st of the month at 09:00) that is automatically sent to your email. In Settings, SLA reports, "Auto-send monthly".
