Email subscribers for status page
3 min read · Status pages
Logged-in ePulz.io users with a paid plan can enable e-mail notifications from any public status page. Public (anonymous) status page visitors do not receive e-mails, they only see the current state of services.
How it works
Open a public status page (for example from a vendor you also monitor). If you are signed in and have a paid plan, a Subscribe button and the e-mail from your account appear below the service overview.
After clicking, you will receive an e-mail on every state change of the monitored services (outage, recovery, scheduled maintenance).
Every notification contains an unsubscribe link, which covers GDPR compliance.
Why no public subscription
Open e-mail fields on public status pages collect spam and anonymous addresses that have no real relationship to the service. ePulz.io therefore only collects subscriptions from verified paying accounts - this keeps the subscriber list clean and relevant.
Managing your subscriptions
The list of status pages you have subscribed to can be found in the dashboard under Profile. There you can cancel a subscription at any time (or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail).
