Goal: Understand how billing works, what payment methods are supported, and how to upgrade / downgrade.

Provider

ePulz.io uses Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles cards, VAT, invoicing, dunning. ePulz.io receives only subscription state via webhook.

Payment methods

  • Credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • SEPA Direct Debit (EU)
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
  • PayPal (selected regions)

Billing cycles

  • Monthly - charged on the same day each month
  • Yearly - 2 months free (vs monthly), charged annually

Trial

7-day trial on sign-up. No card required. Trial covers all features of the Standard plan.

Plan upgrade

Dashboard -> Subscription -> pick a plan -> checkout. Pro-rated charge for the remainder of the current cycle, new full charge on next renewal.

Plan downgrade

Effective on the next billing cycle (no pro-rated refund). Monitor count above the new limit must be reduced before downgrade.

Cancellation

Cancel any time. Subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then drops to the free / expired tier. No early-cancellation fee.

VAT

Lemon Squeezy validates EU VAT IDs at checkout - business customers get reverse-charge invoicing. Non-business customers are charged local VAT rate.
